Frequently asked questions
Arrange is the easiest way to create a shareable schedule that others can add to their calendars with 1 tap or click.
Arrange is for anyone who wants to share a schedule that others can quickly add to their calendars. Arrange has been used for school calendars, class syllabi, cohort-based courses, sports schedules, accelerators, conferences, summits, team off-sites, membership organizations, campus events, recruitment schedules, and even wedding weekends.
A schedule is a set of related events. When you create a schedule in Arrange, you can share multiple events with groups of people with a single link that they can add to their calendars quickly and easily.
Anyone can get started for free, and our Basics plan is free forever. We also offer paid plans starting at $16/mo with more features for professionals and teams - see our Pricing Page for more info.
Arrange uses single sign-on (SSO) for account creation so that you can seamlessly connect your calendar of choice to Arrange. You can create an Arrange account with any Google or Microsoft account by logging in with your existing email address. You do not need to create a new username or password to use Arrange.
Arrange asks for calendar access to be able to add, edit and remove events from your calendar when you subscribe to - or unsubscribe from - an Arrange schedule. Arrange doesn’t create, delete, save or share events that are not part of an Arrange schedule.
After you’ve added a schedule to your calendar, you can revoke Arrange’s access to your calendar at any time in the Google apps settings. The trade off is that your calendar will not be updated if/when there are any changes to the schedule, since Arrange will no longer have the ability to add, edit or remove events that are part of an Arrange schedule. Read this Google help center article about how to revoke access.
Once you’ve logged in and added a schedule to your calendar, the schedule will appear on a new calendar called “[Your Name]’s Arrange Calendar.” If you’d like the schedule to appear on a different calendar, you can manage this in your Account Settings.
Arrange works with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft 365, and Apple Calendar.
If you use the iCal app on your phone, you'll need to make sure your email account is connected there. To add it, open Settings and select “Calendar,” then, “Add Account,” then select the email provider you used to sign up for Arrange (Google, Microsoft, Outlook.com, etc). Once you enter your email address, hit "Next" and you'll be prompted to enter your password. Your account should now be synced (in addition to your Calendar, you'll have the option to also sync Emails, Notes, Contacts, etc). To confirm that it worked, open your Apple calendar app and tap "Calendars" on the bottom middle - this will bring up all of the accounts you have connected (iCloud, etc.). Read this Google support article with more information.
Arrange makes it easy to remove events that are not relevant for you. To do so, you can either delete the event on your calendar, or login to Arrange and ‘Hide’ the event on the schedule page. Both actions will remove the event from your calendar.
Log into Arrange and click “New Schedule” to create a schedule. In addition to adding events, you can add a title, description, and photo to your schedule.
Arrange uses AI to convert existing schedules into calendar format. To upload an existing schedule, click “Import” to drag and drop your file or copy/paste plain text. Arrange supports PDFs, JPGs, PNGs, and ICS files.
Yes - when you create a schedule in Arrange, all of its events will automatically sync to the calendar you’ve connected. Any changes you make to your schedule in Arrange will be reflected in your calendar too.
Once you’ve created a schedule in Arrange, you can share it with anyone by clicking “Share” on the schedule page. This will generate a link to your schedule page that you can copy and share with anyone.
Yes - once you share the link to your schedule page, anyone with that link can visit your page and add the schedule to their calendars. If they are new to Arrange, they’ll need to create a free account first.
When someone subscribes to your schedule, Arrange will add the events on your schedule to that person’s calendar.
You can track who has added your schedule to their calendars in the “Viewers” tab on the schedule page. There, you can see their name, email address, and the date they subscribed to your schedule.
Any changes you make to your schedule - including adding new events, removing events, or updating event details - will automatically be pushed out to subscribers’ calendars. Changes to schedule details (title, description, photo) will be updated in real-time as well.
Subscribers to your schedule will instantly receive any updates on their calendars, but will not receive a separate notification that the schedule has been edited.
