  • 🧸 Create a Vision Board

Creating a vision board will allow you to see what you want the end result to be. Pinterest makes this easy to do and has amazing ideas to get you started on your vision. You may want to pick a theme for the nursery or color scheme. https://link.joinarrange.com/buildingyournursery_NurseryIdeas

  • 🧸 Order the Furniture

Find and purchase the furniture you are going to want in the nursery. A crib is essential, but think about adding a dresser, a rocking chair, an ottoman, etc. Think functionality, what is going to make the most sense. You will need a place to store baby clothes that you will not be hanging up and a place to store all the changing table necessities. https://link.joinarrange.com/buildingyournursery_NurseryFurnitureIdeas

  • 🧸 Get Organized

If you are using a dresser, getting organizers to put in the drawers will keep things neat and easy to grab! If you are hanging clothes, organize them by size and only hang clothes you’ll be using. You can also add dividers with the sizing if you prefer to hang more than one size at a time. https://link.joinarrange.com/buildingyournursery_Thingstogetyourspaceorganized

  • 🧸 Time to Decorate

This is the fun part! Hanging a name sign, adding wall paper or paint, a mirror, lamp, photos, etc. will personalize this space and make it special for baby. Adding floating bookshelves is a great way to store books and will fill empty space on a wall. https://link.joinarrange.com/buildingyournursery_Nurserydecor

  • 🧸 Stock the Changing Table

You will want to keep everything you need for diaper changes in the top drawer of the dresser, on the shelf of a changing table, or in an organizer close by! You will need diapers, wipes, and diaper creams. You can also store lotion, suncreen, hand sanitizer, ear and nose essentials, nail trimmers, changing pad covers, medicine, etc. Drawer organizers will be essential in keeping it all organized! https://link.joinarrange.com/buildingyournursery_Changingtableessentials

  • 🧸 Make Sure the Space is Safe

Check the room to make sure the space is safe for your baby. Although they may not be crawling yet, getting ahead and baby proofing is key! Make sure all outlets are covered, no visible cords, no harmful products in reach, corners are protected, and all furniture is secure. https://link.joinarrange.com/buildingyournursery_Babyproofing
